    When you switch to Telecom, we’ll transfer all of your details to a new SIM card. They come free with our Pay Monthly plans and cost just $5 if you want to go Prepaid.


    We now have three types of SIM Cards to choose from, depending on what mobile you already have.

    Regular SIM Card

    • Remove the phone's back cover and battery
    • Or refer to your phones user guide

    Micro SIM Card

    • Remove the phone's back cover and battery
    • If your phone has a SIM card tray use a paper clip to eject it
    • Or refer to your phone user guide

    • Nokia Lumia 710
    • Nokia Lumia 800
    • Samsung Galaxy S III

    Nano SIM Card

    • Remove the phone's back cover and battery

  • When we talk about per minute calling rates and the 'included minutes' in our Pay Monthly (Postpaid) plans, these don't apply to video calling, directory assistance, operator-assisted, 0900 and other types of chargeable calls like these

Fair Use Policy is for national person to person calls or texts to standard NZ numbers (not special chargeable numbers). If use materially exceeds estimated customer use of this service (referenced against average customer profiles) we may ask you to moderate your usage, if you fail to do so, we reserve the right to remove the service.
